I, for one, am really excited to go to Hogsmeade. It got kind of repetitive over the years, but it'll be nice to get out of the castle for a while. I love visiting Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop even if I don't have a date. The tea selection is to die for. I usually get Chai.
Does anyone want to come with me to Gladrags? I'm going to TRY to keep AWAY from Honeydukes. I always want to buy sweets, and I'm attempting to maintain my figure.

I love how everyone thinks they're going to go to Hogsmeade. Like the Carrows aren't going to keep the unruly ones behind. I mean, I'm not brilliant and I KNOW this.

This holiday was ATROCIOUS. First off, I really didn't get what I wanted for Christmas. I should have just asked for money, that would have been the smarter thing. Also, my sister Margie is getting married and it was just aaaaaalll about Margie. Margie, Margie, Margie. What's she going to wear? What are her bridesmaids going to wear? Where will the wedding be? What kind of table place settings do we want?
Wow, just elope, okay? Okay.
I am so looking forward to going back to school. Is that weird? I know school isn't the same and blah blah blah, but like Pansy said -- if you just follow the rules, there usually aren't any problems. It won't be a bad year. I think everyone's just making a mountain out of a molehill. But it's okay. We're teenagers, so we're allowed to be dramatic.
Let's all hope for a really good semester! If you're a 7th year, it's our last year of memories with each other, so that's kind of sentimental. Also, NEWTs are soon. I'm going to fail them, but it's fine. At least I'm preparing myself ahead of time for my brain exploding.

Apparently Michael Corner and Zoe Boot snogged at a New Years Eve party this year. She's weird, but her even weirder brother was talking about it openly in these journals. I didn't know Cho Chang was into "open relationships", did you? Maybe she lost all of her self-esteem when Harry dumped her for a Weasley.
And UGH. Why is Megan Jones always talking about sex on these journals? She's so annoying. Please, let's just put the word "climax" in my journal, and let everyone reference it later because we're all a bunch of 12-year-olds. And then let me pretend like I didn't even mean for that to happen. Whatever.
